PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special meeting of the Vergennes Township Planning Commission will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Vergennes Township Hall, located at 10381 Bailey Drive, Lowell, MI to consider agenda business as summarized below:
A public hearing is for proposed Zoning Ordinance text amendments to Section 201.415 (B) Temporary Dwelling, to remove the process as a special exception use to a Zoning Administrator review process with standards and requirements. Section 201.306 (C) (11) to the R-2 District is to add “bed and breakfast” use and standards and the same to the R-3 District section 201.306A (C) (11). Also in the R-3 District section 201.306A (C) (4) the use line is clarified to read: “4. Hotels and motels” and remove other ambiguous language.
A public hearing will also be held on a PUD site plan for a home development (Ridge View Estates) on Alden Nash Ave north of Three Mile Rd on the east side across from Lally St and Carlson Farms. The development is proposing 23 lots with permanent preserved open space.
Property owners within 300 feet of the project parcels will receive this notice by mail.

Written and oral comments will be received from any interested party until the conclusion of the public hearing.
